On my 2018 European tour I made some memories that I’ll never forget. One of those was on a day that my team (Jessica Jane Peterson and Ben Young) and I had off in Portugal. We were asked if we had any interest in going on a wine tasting and we emphatically said, “YES!” I had never been on a wine tasting before and doing my first one in Portugal was an opportunity that I wasn’t going to miss!

This tasting was really special because we did the tasting in a special tasting room and then we were served an incredible Portuguese meal that had specific wines paired to the foods. The food was scrumptious and the wine exquisite.

In between the traditional tasting and our lunch we were given a tour of the property. The highlight, for me, was when we opened a door and descended stairs into a wine cellar, the likes I had never seen before. We were surrounded by bottle after bottle of wine in this chilly and dark basement-like area.

It was the perfect place to create another memory for our hosts with some sleight-of-hand magic. I hope you enjoy the video we shot of the experience!
