In a world where conflict, uncertainty, and long deployments are part of daily life, wonder can be a rare and precious thing. That’s why, when I pack up my deck of cards and head out to perform for the military, I don’t see it as just a deck of cards, nor is this just another show.
I see it as a mission - a very personal one.
For years now, I’ve had the honor of performing magic for the U.S. military. To date, in over 50 countries. From massive bases in Europe to remote outposts in the Middle East, from officers’ clubs to forward operating camps, I’ve shared sleight of hand, laughter, and moments of connection with the brave men and women who serve.
And what I’ve learned is this: Magic matters.
Wonder Has an IMPORTANT Role to Play
Military life is demanding. The stress, the sacrifices, the distance from home—it weighs on even the strongest. Entertainment becomes more than a luxury—it’s a lifeline. A reminder of normalcy. A break in the routine. A way to reconnect with joy.
That’s where magic comes in.
When a card changes in someone’s hands or a coin vanishes before their eyes, for a moment they’re not thinking about deployment rotations or operational checklists. They’re caught in something impossible. They’re present. They’re amazed. And often—they’re laughing.
In those moments, I get to give them something powerful: a sense of wonder.
A Mission with Meaning
For me, these shows aren’t just gigs—they’re part of my personal calling. I grew up hearing stories from my grandfather who served in the Air Force. I heard stories of service, sacrifice, and brotherhood that stayed with me.
Both of my grandfathers who served made me want to serve, too.
While I took a different path in life, I’ve never let go of the desire to contribute. In fact, when I received a call from my agent in 2015 asking if I had any interest in “doing some shows for the military,” I thought he was reading my mind. “Oh my gosh, yes!” I said. Performing for the military has become my way of honoring my grandfathers’ legacies and supporting the men and women who follow in their footsteps.
It’s magic with purpose. Magic with a mission.
More Than Tricks
I’ve performed in luxury theaters and elegant venues—but the applause that echoes across a tent in the desert, or the smiles from service members who haven’t laughed in days... that’s something else entirely.
These audiences are sharp, strong, and seasoned. And they deserve the best. That’s why I bring my A-game every time, whether I’m on a grand stage or standing in the middle of a dusty hangar with 20 folding chairs and a Bluetooth speaker.
Because I’m not just performing for them—I’m performing because of them.
Heading Out Again
This June, I’m proud to be heading overseas once again—to the Middle East—to bring magic and morale to those stationed far from home.
Every show is different. Every base has its own personality. But the mission remains the same: to remind those who serve that they are seen, appreciated, and valued.
Through wonder. Through magic. Through moments they’ll remember.
Grateful to Give Back
If you’re reading this and you’ve served—thank you. If your family has served, thank you. If you’ve ever stood in support of someone who wears the uniform, you’re part of this story too.
I believe in the power of magic. But more importantly, I believe in the power of people. And I’ll keep bringing wonder to those who serve for as long as I’m able.
Because this is what it’s all about.
Let’s Work Together
Many companies and organizations are proud to support the military—and they want to work with people who do the same. If you’re looking to partner with a professional who brings passion, purpose, and military-aligned values to every event, let’s talk.
Whether it’s a corporate gathering, private event, or speaking engagement, I bring the same level of professionalism and heart that I bring to every military tour.
